adding dodge to the list of companies that incite a feeling of rage

this whole 'let's refuel america - $2.99 gas guarantee' gets me fired up everytime i hear the commerical. way to go dodge, thank you for feeding the middle american illusion that we are entitled to guzzle all the oil we see fit.

just ask the woman in the idling mini-van at the baja fresh today, she's entitled to guzzle all the gas she wants. my hunger was the only thing stopping me from walking up to her window and telling her to roll it down and turn the car off. oh, and she was in a dodge mini-van. coincidence? i never did check the registration on the car to see how new it was. it would make sense that you would waste gas like that since you'll get it for $2.99 for the next 3 years.

now, let's get a few things straight here, dodge:

  • $2.99 gas still isn't cheap - it's what you're 'ok' with paying, since it's still cheaper than milk

  • offering gas for $2.99 does not make it OK that you do not currently offer a hybrid vehicle

  • your obvious lack of R&D cannot be compensated for by your shitty marketing tactics

to everyone thinking your getting a great deal: thanks for trashing planet. i hope your new dodge gets recalled for something that makes you think twice about that awesome deal you got on a gas from a company with an obvious lack of caring about you. don't forget to stick an american flag magnet on your trunk.
